Hey there! My name is Alicia and I am the founder and CEO of On Stage Media Australia.

Believe me when I say, the theatre runs through my veins! I started performing at the age of 2 and spent majority of my childhood and adolescence either in a dance studio, on stage at competitions or performing in amateur theatre productions.

After leaving school I went on to teach dance, drama, musical theatre and my greatest passion… singing! Becoming a mum meant taking a front row seat in the theatre and cheering on my kids performing along with their friends.

In 2015 I recognised a lack of reliable, reasonably priced media companies to support dance competitions and theatrical performances…. And thus On Stage Media was born!

While I still dip my toe in the water with teaching and performing occasionally, this has become my biggest baby and I absolutely LOVE what I do!

As a mum to 4 gorgeous kids myself, I am passionate about encouraging the next generation to learn and grow not just in the art of performance but in confidence too! Dance competitions are so much more than 1st, 2nd and 3rd, it’s about self discovery, self confidence, creativity and sharing a passion for the arts. 

10 years after we first began, our team now travel Australia with our clients giving young performers an opportunity to grow while capturing some once in a lifetime moments that encourage and motivate performers of all ages. 

From our humble beginnings, offering affordable videography at local dance competitions in Melbourne, we have flourished and evolved into one of the leading dance competition photography providers in Australia! Not only that, we help competitions provide next level feedback with video critiques and even music management to ease the burden on organisers. 

In 2023 we were excited to begin working with Stage School Australia and we now provide parents with lasting memories of all seasonal performances year round. This has allowed me the freedom to amplify our presence within the musical theatre industry, where my deepest passions lie.

I, along with my team, feel truly blessed to be able to do what we do with so many amazing and talented clients and customers.
